NASHVILLE, March 7 (UPI - Country star Brad Paisley was home in Nashville Sunday, recovering from a 6-foot fall during a concert in Charleston, S.C., the night before. Paisley tripped and fell off the Charleston Coliseum stage while performing the encore for the final stop of his "American Saturday Night Tour," WSMV-TV, Nashville, reported.

Although he posted to his fans via Twitter that he thought he may have broken ribs, a trip to the hospital revealed severe bruising, his publicist told Country Standard Time.

A fan recorded the fall and put it up on the YouTube Web site, which prompted Paisley to promise a "meet and greet" with the filmographer, the TV station said.

In filing his report on his Twitter page, Paisley told fans despite the mishap, "Charleston rocked though."
